Education for Global Citizenship

A Global Citizen is an individual who is transnational in outlook, rooted in the values of tolerance and understanding, concerned about issues of justice, and equipped by experience and education to function in a global environment and to make a positive contribution to society.

Timberline Foundation is a nonprofit, public charity

Understanding the indelible effect of experience at an early age, Timberline emphasizes assistance to educational programs and projects, and to primary and secondary schools. The Foundation generally targets organizations identified by its own research. Its primary focus is on the mountains of northern India.

Timberline was established in 2001, and is recognized as a tax-exempt organization by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. Contributions are tax-deductible. Its Tax ID No. is 04-3547684.
